Paula Hild, PhD, has joined the SustainERA research team as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the School of Humanities.
Dr. Paula Hild researches sustainability transitions. Her work explores how everyday practices, materialities, and institutional frameworks shape transitions toward more sustainable ways of living and building. She studies how technological, political, and infrastructural conditions interact with individual and collective actions in fields such as circular construction, urban development, and resource use, including repair and reuse practices in the built environment.
Paula holds a PhD from the University of Luxembourg and previously worked at the University of Trier in Germany in the Sustainability Transitions Lab, as well as at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST). She holds master’s degrees in civil engineering, adult education, and German studies. At Tallinn University, Paula is part of the SustainERA project.
