On 4 December, the ERA Chair in Sustainable Futures (SustainERA) held the second joint meeting of the Advisory Board and the Steering Committee. During the meeting, SustainERA presented an overview of its first-year progress and received valuable feedback from the Advisory Board.
During the first year, the project achieved several key milestones, the most significant of which has been the establishment of the research team. SustainERA conducted three international recruitment calls for four PhD student/junior research fellow positions, as well as two additional calls for three postdoctoral positions, carrying out more than 30 interviews in total. With these appointments, the SustainERA team is now close to full capacity for the next stages of the project.
